Ringlock Structure is one of the main structural systems used by DragonStructure for temporary stages, platforms and event-support applications.
From our project experience, the value of Ringlock is not limited to scaffolding itself. Its modular combination of vertical standards, horizontal members, diagonal bracing and adjustable bases allows the same basic system to be developed into very different temporary structures.
Depending on the project requirements, Ringlock can form a stage platform, support an elevated roof system, create an FOH or control platform, provide supporting structures for LED screens and sound systems, or build temporary seating and grandstand structures.
Our Ringlock Structure cases are organized into six main applications:
Stage & Platform Structure
Ringlock grids can form large temporary stage and platform bases, with the dimensions, height and supporting layout adjusted according to the required performance area.
Roof Support Structure
For larger event structures, Ringlock can provide the supporting structure below or around an elevated roof system. Aluminum truss may then be integrated where lightweight long-span roof members are required.
FOH & Control Structure
Ringlock can create elevated and multi-level working areas for front-of-house control, lighting, audio and production operations.
LED Screen Structure
Modular Ringlock structures can provide large supporting areas behind or around LED screen installations. The final configuration depends on screen dimensions, weight, height and installation arrangement.
Sound Support Structure
Ringlock can also be configured as supporting towers or structural zones for event sound systems. Equipment position and actual loading requirements are considered when developing the final arrangement.
Seating & Grandstand Structure
The modular grid can be extended horizontally and vertically to form temporary seating and grandstand support structures with access integrated into the overall configuration.
The important point is that these are not six completely different structural products.
They are different applications of the same modular structural logic.
A project starts with the required dimensions and function. We then determine the grid, height, supporting zones, bracing arrangement, access and any additional systems that need to work with the Ringlock structure.
This is why DragonStructure focuses on structure configuration and project cases, rather than treating Ringlock only as a collection of individual scaffolding components.
